Photography: The End of Architecture
Architecture may seem permanent, but it’s only slightly less ephemeral than the rest of human endeavor. Soon enough every monument is a heap of disorganized rubble.
After several months of trying to line things up I finally managed to catch the demolition of a house in my neighborhood. I took 358 shots, and then winnowed that heap down to a handful.
