Photography: What we do in the Shadows
For years I’ve been trying to photograph what I like about tree limbs with little or no success. All my attempts came out either too busy and cluttered or overly simple and prosaic. Walking in downtown Palo Alto one morning I looked at the shadows on the building across the street and saw something close to what I’ve been trying to say.

all my photos) are provided under the Creative
Commons BY-SA license, which means (roughly) that you can use them as
you like so long as you give me credit.
